Vinamex HR joyfully celebrates the August Revolution and National Day 2/9/2025
20/08/2025
In the historic spirit of August, the whole nation is joyfully commemorating the success of the August Revolution (19/8/1945) and preparing to celebrate National Day (2/9/1945) – the day the Democratic Republic of Vietnam was founded.
Sharing that pride, the teachers and trainees of Vinamex HR Training Center have hoisted national flags, decorated the campus, and organized a series of traditional educational activities in a lively, solemn, and inspiring atmosphere.

Historical significance – Why do we commemorate?
The August Revolution (19/8/1945) was a glorious milestone that opened a new era: the people seized power into their own hands and laid the foundation for a state of the people, by the people, and for the people.
National Day 2/9/1945 marks the moment when President Hồ Chí Minh read the Declaration of Independence, affirming the Vietnamese nation’s right to freedom and independence before the world.
For Vinamex HR, the values of independence – self-reliance – solidarity – discipline – creativity from those historic events have been transformed into a driving force for learning, skill development, and international integration for every trainee.
The red flags with yellow stars and the Party flag fluttering in the wind not only beautify the learning environment but also inspire national pride, unity, and the will to strive forward. Every classroom, corridor, and common space has been neatly arranged, creating a positive atmosphere for study and experiential activities.
Learning through experience – beyond decoration
To ensure the commemoration goes beyond decoration, Vinamex HR has implemented practical activities to help trainees “learn through experience”:
-
Historical mini-lectures: Revisiting the milestones of 19/8 and 2/9, reflecting on the value of independence and freedom in today’s learning and working contexts.
-
Seminar “The Spirit of Independence – Competence for Integration”: Connecting tradition with soft skills (discipline, adaptability, cooperation, problem-solving) – key abilities in the international working environment.
-
Mini quiz – Exploring history: Quick in-class quizzes to encourage critical thinking, strengthen memory of events, with small prizes to boost motivation.
-
Cultural activity – Reading the Declaration: Reading excerpts from the Declaration of Independence and singing traditional songs to spread patriotic pride.
-
“One historical story a day” week: Each class begins with a short story or a notable figure, linked to life skills lessons.
-
Promoting good habits – Green classroom initiative: Linking great national commemorations with small daily actions: keeping classrooms clean, queuing, punctuality, saying thank you and sorry, respecting facilities as we respect the legacy of our predecessors.
Values for Vinamex HR trainees
-
Understand deeply – Remember longer: Not only memorizing dates, but grasping “why it happened” and “how to apply it” in life and work.
-
Build discipline – Self-learning foundation: Major commemorations are opportunities to foster self-awareness, respect for rules, and collective spirit.
-
Enhance international competence: From national tradition to global skills – trainees take initiative in communication, cooperation, adaptability, and perseverance in pursuing goals.
Vinamex HR’s commitment
Vinamex HR steadfastly upholds its mission of training high-quality human resources, integrating knowledge – skills – attitudes.
Each important commemoration is an opportunity for us to review traditions – strengthen the present – open the future, accompanying our trainees on their journey to step into the world with Vietnamese spirit and culture.
